Wagatame is a Tokyo-based visual kei solo project formed in June 2022. Led by the charismatic MIKE, the band merges nostalgic electronic pop with hard-hitting rock energy. Their sound layers shimmering city-pop synths, high-pitched vocals, and gritty guitar overdrive, creating a futuristic vibe rooted in analog warmth. Live performances are theatrical and dynamic, capturing both visual kei flair and rock intensity.
