Hukanhauta

Hukanhauta is a Finnish atmospheric pagan black metal band whose music weaves together elements of nature, folk poetry, and dark, immersive soundscapes. Drawing inspiration from Karelian folk legend and poetic imagery, their compositions blend the harsh intensity of black metal with haunting melodies and a deep reverence for the wilderness. Their debut single “Joka puu puree” and their latest video “Murheen musta lintu (The Black Bird of Sorrow)” showcase a rich palette of atmosphere, melancholic melody, and heavy sonic textures.
