ALIEN ORCHESTRA

Alien Orchestra is a cinematic metal studio project based in Oslo, Norway. Established in 2014 by composer Jan “EpicAlien” Mojdis, the band merges heavy metal intensity with sweeping orchestral and ambient soundscapes. Their music often draws on themes of the cosmos, extraterrestrial life, Nordic nature, and existential storytelling.

With a mix of melodic metal, atmospheric arrangements, and cinematic influences, Alien Orchestra seeks to bridge the worlds of film music and heavy music. After a period of inactivity owing to Jan’s health struggles, the project has resurfaced with new releases featuring guest musicians from acts like Circus Maximus and Evergrey.
