Phoboian is a symphonic/melodic death metal band hailing from Turku, Finland. Formed in 2017, the band combines heavy Nordic melancholy with classical female vocals, creating a unique blend of melodic death metal. Their music often explores dark themes, such as in their debut single "The Plague," which delves into the extinction of mankind due to a deadly pandemic, intertwining medieval religious imagery with modern scientific dystopia.
