Five Finger Death Punch (FFDP) is a powerhouse American heavy metal band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005. Known for their explosive sound, emotionally charged lyrics, and electrifying performances, the band has carved out a distinct place in the modern metal scene. Drawing from groove metal, alternative metal, and hard rock influences, FFDP delivers a raw, aggressive style balanced by melodic hooks and anthemic choruses.
Their breakthrough came with the debut album "The Way of the Fist" in 2007, and they've since released multiple platinum and gold records, such as "War Is the Answer", "American Capitalist", and "Got Your Six". The band often writes about war, inner struggles, and resilience, resonating strongly with military communities and fans worldwide.
Fronted by vocalist Ivan Moody and backed by a powerful lineup including Zoltan Bathory (guitar), Chris Kael (bass), and Charlie Engen (drums), FFDP has become one of the most successful modern metal bands globally.
