Dämmerland (DE)

Dämmerland is a German fantasy music project that blends elements of folk, medieval rock, and metal with immersive storytelling. Founded by Malte Hoyer (from Versengold) and Hannes Braun (from Kissin’ Dynamite), the project presents an ambitious fusion of music and narrative. It features a full-length concept album and a multi-part audio drama, supported by around 30 guest musicians from 15 renowned folk, medieval, and metal bands.

Rather than purely a “hard rock” act, Dämmerland occupies the intersection of folk metal, medieval rock, and pop-inspired compositions, with a strong fantasy and narrative core. Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2024 and achieved high chart positions.
