Bloodred is a German blackened death-metal project created by Ron Merz, delivering a powerful blend of ferocity, melody, and dark atmosphere. Combining the grim intensity of black metal with the weight and precision of death metal, the music is both aggressive and immersive — filled with icy tremolo lines, crushing rhythms, and haunting soundscapes.
Across albums like “Nemesis” and “The Raven’s Shadow,” Bloodred crafts thematic, emotional extreme metal that balances brutality with atmosphere, making it stand out in the modern black/death scene. As a mostly solo-driven project, Bloodred maintains a raw, personal identity while delivering professional, tightly executed extreme metal.
