BLACKSHAPE is a four-piece instrumental post-mathcore / post-metal band hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA.
They carve a sound marked by rich contrasts — weaving ambient, gaze-adjacent textures and melodic passages with explosive intensity and technical precision. Their music is often described as “heavy, beautiful math,” combining atmospheric nuance with visceral impact.
