Step into the void with Stone Machine Electric and their brand-new single "Chroma", taken from the upcoming album "Faces", due out in early Autumn 2025 via Argonauta Records.
Hailing from Texas, Stone Machine Electric create a powerful and immersive sound they call Doom Jazz, blending psychedelic rock, doom metal, and experimental jams into a unique sonic journey. With "Chroma", the band showcases their signature heavy atmosphere, hypnotic grooves, and emotionally charged intensity.
Formed in 2009 by Mark Kitchens (drums, vocals) and William "Dub" Irvin (guitar), and joined by bassist Erick Paxecko in 2023, the trio has earned a cult following through their self-released albums, intense live shows, and praise from influential sites such as The Obelisk, Doomed & Stoned, and Fort Worth Weekly.
"Chroma is a glimpse into the twisted heart of our upcoming album Faces," the band explains. "It captures where we are now: deeper, heavier, more experimental. We're excited for this first taste to be out in the world."
