Orgg was born in 2018 to bring in music the excruciatingly painful events of the Great White War (Gebirgskrieg in german, Guerra bianca in italian).

The project is entirely dedicated to the first world war; specifically to the battles taking place in the Dolomites area between Italy and the Austro-Hungarian empire.

We felt the urge to write these songs to honor the majestic nature that was once raped by man during this conflict, carving mountains to place explosives to win opponent’s positions.
What we now consider one of the most beautiful and peaceful places on Earth, was once the theater of monstrosities: the mighty landscapes were filled with bodies and machines that can still be found as of today to testify the folly of men.

Orgg is not celebrating war. Orgg is celebrating the survival of nature over the actions of mankind.

What began with a roar
Ended with a sudden silence
Crucified in a whirl of sharp splinters
The avalanche unleashed
Mindless in its route
Dolomites stare tall
Roaring devastation
