Procession marks the first collaboration between Wolvennest and the Belgian label Consouling Sounds. Mostly self-recorded, and mixed/mastered by long-time producer Déhà at Blackout Studios, this fifth album features artwork by Arts of Maquenda, who also created the Temple artwork in 2020.
Sects, curses, death rituals, and psychotropics create an eerie atmosphere, showing that the band is ready for another decade of sonic exploration, enhanced in live performances by surreal projections.
Procession describes a world where the cross is inverted, and portals constantly open, granting access to the invisible realm and to one’s other self.
