This is „Trauma“ - A reflection on identity in the depths of lived experience - „Trauma“ explores the quiet, often disorienting space between who we are and what we’ve endured. It’s about the uncertainty that follows in the wake of survival: Are these thoughts truly mine, or are they echoes of something older?
With its deeply atmospheric build-up, the track unfolds like a slow introspection before erupting into waves of heavy bass, roaring synths, and post-metal guitars, anchored by pounding drums. The sound swells like an internal storm, reflecting the pressure of a mind caught between past and presence.
The accompanying music video unfolds like a ritual of release: encircled by flames, Ellereve writhes and struggles through the fire, a fierce battle with the shadows within. Only when the flames subside does she fall, spent and still - awakened into freedom, no longer held by trauma’s grasp.
