Olde Throne

Olde Throne is an atmospheric and melodic black metal project hailing from Christchurch, New Zealand. Founded in 2020 by Harrison McKenzie, the band blends the ferocity of classic black metal with sweeping atmospheres, Celtic mythology, and evocative storytelling.

Drawing inspiration from Scottish and Irish history and folklore, Olde Throne has released two full-length albums — An Gorta Mór (2022) and In the Land of Ghosts (2023) — and is now preparing their next chapter under Avantgarde Music.
