Kaya

Kaya

Kaya is a Japanese visual kei singer and solo artist, born in Tokushima, Japan. His music blends darkwave, synthpop, electronic rock, and gothic elements, creating a unique style that is both theatrical and emotionally powerful.

Kaya first rose to fame as the vocalist of Schwarz Stein, a unit produced by Mana (Moi dix Mois / ex-Malice Mizer), before launching his solo career in 2006. Known for his androgynous aesthetics, elaborate stage costumes, and dramatic performances, Kaya has become a distinctive figure in the Japanese visual kei and electronic music scene.

His work explores themes of beauty, decadence, and fantasy, often bridging the gap between electronic music and gothic rock atmospheres.
