Abysmal Dawn

Abysmal Dawn are a Los Angeles-based death metal force formed in 2003, led by guitarist/vocalist Charles Elliott. Their sound is steeped in aggressive modern death metal, combining the precision and ferocity of 90s American death metal with influences from thrash and black metal, and framed in a technical yet merciless package. With several acclaimed albums under their belt—including Obsolescence and Phylogenesis—they have earned a reputation for consistently heavy output and rigorous musicianship.
